Today I spent the day with mom and dad in Taipei.

We had breakfast at Cafe Vitus, visited our Taipei office, ate lunch at my favorite chicken place, went to Eslite bookstore and cafe in Xin Yi district near 101, and finally had dinner at the Japanese restaurant on the 4F. All throughout, we had a good time talking.

I learned about my dad’s childhood, and also listened to my parents talk about the importance of marrying someone with the same spiritual values. Honestly, sometimes it is annoying to hear, but it is probably similar to eating nasty tasting medicine that is annoying to eat, but keeps us alive.
